I take the mystery out of how to apply Transfers to your Warhammer 40k minis. Even transfers on Space Marine shoulder pads are easy to get a smooth finish on every time!
Have all those Warhammer 40k transfer sheets and not sure what to do? Transfers, also known as decals or waterslide transfers, are a great tool add crisp symbols and iconography to your miniatures without worrying about freehand painting. Space Marine chapter and unit markings actually apply quite easy to shoulder pads with this method, as I demonstrate on the Imperial Fists Bladeguard Veteran model in this video. If you apply transfers you can level up your finished painting results on many of your Warhammer 40k and/or Kill Team minis and give your army just a little extra.
In all cases, don't forget to finish with a coat of varnish or medium to seal the transfer in and give it a nice easy, smooth finish! Enjoy the video, and make sure you try applying transfers to your Warhammer 40k miniatures - don't be afraid of those Space Marine shoulder pads!
