2024 BYD SEA LION 05 - REVEALED
The Sea Lion models are derived from the Ocean line, the first of which was the Sea Lion 07, closer to the Seal sedan, while the 05 follows the King's language. Today, in some markets, the BYD Song Plus is sold as the BYD Sea Lion 06. The Sea Lion 05 DM-i will become the entry-level model in this series.
The 05 DM-i has a massive frameless grille and elongated rectangular headlights. The front bumper has a sizable air intake to keep the engine cool. The new SUV has plastic moldings around the lower body and traditional door handles.
From the side, we can highlight that the Sea Lion 05 DM-i has an "infinity" roof design with blacked-out D-pillars. The rear of the new hybrid SUV has a single LED taillight bar and a minimalist bumper. As we already said, the Sea Lion 05 DM-i is based on the BYD Song Pro DM-i and the King sedan , as a result, these models look quite similar in terms of overall proportions.
