Over 14,000 satellites have launched into Earth’s orbit since 1957, with thousands more expected in the coming decade. Space debris, including over 36,500 objects larger than a human fist, poses a significant risk to functioning satellites. Italian inventor Luca Rossettini and his team created a solution to this problem - a system that propels old or broken satellites out of Earth's orbit to prevent the risk of them falling back to Earth or creating more debris.
