How to Quickly: Check If A File Is Safe
Most people have only one virus scanner installed on their computer as having multiple scanners can cause them to interfere with each other. However, if you want to ensure a file is safe, it's best to scan it with several different scanners. To do that, watch this video or do the following:
1. Go to virustotal.com
2. Drag the file you want to scan onto the webpage
3. If multiple scanners suggest the file is infected, take caution with that file.
