Flink Forward SF 2022 Keynote: One SQL, Unified Analytics
Apache Flink has come a long way and now established itself as the most popular realtime processing engine. At this point, we see a great opportunity for the project to play an even bigger role in areas of Analytics. With strong support of SQL in both streaming and batch computing, we envision Flink, along with its ecosystem projects, to become a one-stop platform for unified analytics. It helps significantly reduce the complexity and improve the efficiency of the existing systems. This keynote will briefly walk through the current status of Apache Flink and share our insights about the next major steps on the roadmap of Apache Flink, including further pushing the boundary of stream-batch unification in SQL and runtime to support the next generation of realtime data warehouse. The presentation will also cover a bit of the latest development of Flink ML.
