It’s quite clear that if and when the FEMA Camp network is put into action, its first and foremost clients are going to be illegal immigrants, and these camps will be portrayed as humanitarian, refugee and social integration facilities.
It’s very much possible for a scenario like this to come about in a not so distant future, when countries like Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Honduras, etc., start going down under foreign destabilizations, economic recession, social crises, proxy conflicts, etc. – and vast masses of refugees start flowing to the Mexico/U.S. border.
If things do turn out this way, when this “refugee” camp system becomes well up and running, it’ll most likely be gradually transitioned into a cheap labor work system, with corporations being allowed to move into the facilities so as to create sweatshops, call centers and all the rest, to take advantage of the cheap workforce. Kinda like what already happens in privatized prisons, where inmates are paid 20 or 30 cents an hour to do qualified labor for corporate employers. The sales pitch for serf labor in the refugee camps will most likely go something like this: “well, it’s good for their social integration, and besides, we’re giving these people shelter, food, electricity, hot running water, so now they have a social debt to our society, why shouldn’t they repay it with labor”. If this does come about, then, as already happens with wild overseas outsourcing and with the privatized prison economy, the camp economy will provide for yet another low wage, low labor standards black hole to dismantle and suck into it whatever’s left of the real, general economy.
The coming to fruition of any concentration camp scenario in America, be it the scenario I describe above, or any other, will be yet another giant step towards the controlled demolition of civilization into neofeudalism, and it’ll be for everyone’s disadvantage – with the sole exception of the oligarchical forces running the show and profiting from it.
