The Great Plant Hunt is a five-year project supported by the Toyota
Fund for Europe that ran from 2015-2020. The project educated
Eco-Schools students about the importance of biodiversity, with a
particular emphasis on plant species, and aimed to shape young people into advocates for conservation. The project was implemented in
16 countries and engaged students in hands-on activities to promote
biodiversity in their schools and communities. Educational materials
for the project were provided by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
with funding from the Wellcome Trust.
