"There is hope for your future, declares the Lord, and your children shall come back to their own country." - Jeremiah 31:17. Our ultimate hope and future is in the kingdom of heaven with Jesus. God gives comfort and a promise way back in the book of Jeremiah that points us ahead to the last day. You can have comfort and see today (and your whole life) in the perspective of eternity, that God has given you a place with him in paradise.
