Omegon veTEC410c - Red-sensitive CMOS full-frame astro camera
The Omegon veTEC410c is a very interesting full-frame color camera with high red sensitivity. Currently, there are relatively few images and user reports available for this chip type, the Sony IMX410. The camera is also known as the SkyEye24AC from the Chinese manufacturer ToupTek. In contrast to its competitors, the ZWO ASI 2400MC and the QHY 410c, the Omegon is considerably cheaper, but no less powerful. The Astroshop kindly provided me with the camera for several months to test it extensively. I was fortunate enough to use it in Namibia, and in this video, I'll show you the images I took with it. I'll also present all the important technical details of the camera. I hope you enjoy the images and that the video sparks your interest in the camera.
