Symptoms that indicated that the tie rod end needs to be replaced are sloppy steering, clunking sounds and suspension play. It is recommended that the lower control arm and ball joint be replaced at the same time as the tie rod end to ensure restoration of steering and handling response.
Please remember to properly lift and secure your vehicle with wheel chokes and stands. Also wear proper eye and ear protection while performing any work on your vehicle.
