In this video we are going to talk about path attribute manipulation for the protocol which runs the internet: Border Gateway Protocol [BGP].
In this second installment of the video we are going to manipulate the outgoing updates- origin, AS-Path and MED values and see the effect on the traffic flow after implementation.
AS-path and Origin are well-known mandatory path attributes and sent in all updates.
MED is optional non-transitive path attributes affecting only the next-AS and not the AS after that as it is not sent in the update.
