By far the most disgusting house we have ever been in. The crumbled drywall dust and chunks mixed with insulation and years of rain and animals, made for a mud like crap, smelled like a dirty swamp mixed with mold and piss, and was stuck in every crease and crack on our boots. Don't get us wrong here, it was a crazy explore, the design of the house was interesting, the decay added to the adventure and then there was what seemed to us to be a second basement. That's where the creepy stuff started!!!
After exploring the upper level and middle level, well the first basement is what we are calling it, we obviously had to check out the second basement. Just like the rest of the house, its destroyed, mold, decay, vandalism, the door to the garage from the basement was filled with fridges and other junk so no exit out that way, but there was a cold storage, a laundry room, and a second set of stairs to upstairs from the other side of the basement from where we entered. After checking out the cold storage and the laundry room, i was walking out and hear something scurrying in the duct system, sketched us out at first but fine, whatever an animal, no biggy. It was the footsteps on a wooden floor above us that creeped us out. It was about 12:45 am, back in the woods, no one was there but us. We listened and listened heard it a few more times, so we finished up pics, went to other stairs opposite of the ones we went down, yelled u hello, a few times to get no reply. So we went upstairs checked it out and nothing, just us.....
We were creeped out, but our trip was not over. We knew there was more buildings on the property, some of which were so buried in the trees if not right beside and looking for them, you would never even know they were there. A fallen down house, a couple old barns and chicken coops, found one old barn in the trees with these weird massive cages in them, and anther little barn assuming for animals down at the end of the trail.
Overall, it was a great experience, made for some awesome pictures with the decay, and we were in and out safely. That was the second stop on the trip with my buddy Mat. Always travel with a buddy for safety, we do not vandalize or steal things, we do this strictly for the pictures and the video.
