RC Flight Sim Control
I found out the hard way that RC planes can be a bit disorienting.
To build muscle memory, and learn how not to crash I started training on FMS 2.0 beta 7 ( http://modelsimulator.com ).
To control the sim in the most realistic way, I found I could use a 1/8th" to 1/8th" audio cable and SmartPropoPlus ( http://www.smartpropoplus.com ) to turn the transmitter included with my TechOne Mercury into a joystick/throttle/rudder control.
Works great. After a week of sim training, while waiting for parts to repair my plane, I'm flying and landing successfully.
