Shots fired at home in East Gwillimbury
Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking suspects and witnesses after shots were fired at a home in the Town of East Gwillimbury.
On Saturday, July 13, 2024, just after 8 a.m., the complainant called police to report she had just returned home to discover a single bullet hole in a bedroom window. When officers arrived, they located a bullet casing laying on the roadway in the intersection of Cyrpus Glen and Charlotte Abby Drive. No one was injured.
Through investigation, officers determined unknown suspects attended the area at approximately 5:30 a.m., in a grey or blue, newer model Range Rover SUV and fired multiple rounds at the residence from within the vehicle. They also believe the incident is targeted.

Investigators are seeking any video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to please come forward.
The investigation is ongoing.
