Bridal Ballad on hammered dulcimer...
So this is my take on the song "Bridal Ballad", originally a poem by Edgar Allan Poe... :)
Whenever I sing this song, I think about Poe's wife (and first cousin) Virginia. Even though they were said to have had a happy marriage - living more like brother and sister - I wonder what Virginia really felt when she at only 13 years of age married her 13 year older cousin?
