So Long Marianne, Hello Norway
Back in Norway for the first time in 8 years. I couldn’t have had a better welcome as the first stop provided for me. The lovely little seaside town Kragerø and its adjacent island Øya for the magical northern sunsetd above the sea. For me, there is no better song to celebrate Norway than this one: Leonard’s ode to his beautiful longtime Norwegian companion Marianne.
