ترميم وتأهيل دير الخضر الاثري/دير البلح
قام رواق بترميم دير الخضر الأثري في مركز مدينة دير البلح التي عرفت تاريخياً كقرية كبيرة مبنية من الطين. يتكون المبنى من مستويين يضمان 5 غرف وحوشاً، وتم ترميمه ليضم مكتبة، وغرفاً متعددة الاستخدامات، وحمامات، ومطبخاً، وساحة.يستخدم المبنى حالياً من قبل جمعية نوى للثقافة والفنون كمركز ثقافي يوفر أنشطة متعددة للأطفال. تم ترميم المبنى بالشراكة مع جمعية نوى، وإيوان – مركز التراث المعماري في غزة. وتم استكمال العمل بتكلفة 87,775 دولاراً أمريكياً، وبدعم من معهد تراث ولونيا وولونيا - بروكسل العالمية، والحكومة السويدية من خلال اليونسكو.
Riwaq has done renovation of St. George’s Monasteryin the center of Deir Al Balah, historically a large mud village on flat ground with wells to the south of Gaza City.The building is composed of two levels containing five vaults and a courtyard. The facility now includes a library, multipurpose rooms, bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a courtyard. Nawa for Culture and Arts Association uses the buildingfor children’s activities.The project was implemented in cooperation with Nawa for Culture and Arts Association and IWAN – Center for Architectural Heritageat a total cost of$87,775made available by the Institut du Patrimoine Wallon (IPW), Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI), and the Swedish Government through UNESCO.
