🔍 Part 14: Using the Rotate Tool
In this 14th episode, We demonstrate how to use The Rotate tool. The rotate tool lets you rotate a point, line or an object around a fixed point.
Select one or more objects with the selection tool, click the rotate tool, mark your point of rotation, then click anywhere on the object and drag to rotate it around it’s marked point of rotation.
If you are closing a dart, for example, cut the pattern at the new dart location, select the panel with the selection tool, select the rotation tool, mark your rotation point at the bust point then click and drag one dart leg to meet the other. Release to set the rotated panel in place.
Its keyboard shortcut is “R”
