We need to make sure we have our FFB (Force Feedback) steering settings exactly how we like them in order to get the most out of ourselves and our given hardware. With that in mind, I'm supplying the settings I found most useful when configuring Assetto Corsa Competizione with the Fanatec Podium DD1 wheelbase.

I have a bit of a disclaimer here - these settings apply to the Podium DD1 Wheelbase, other wheel bases may use different settings so be aware of that when applying these settings.

With that out of the way let’s have a look at Fanalab for our settings and how to load those up when we start the game.

In Fanalab we use the following settings which can be applied in the Tuning Menu:

SEN: 800
FF: 60%
FFS: Peak
NDP: 15%
NFR: OFF
NIN: OFF
INT: 3
FEI: 100%
FOR: 100%
SPR: 100%
DPR: 100%
BLI: OFF
SHO: 100%

So now we’re in ACC let’s go into the options - controls and here we can see the settings we have applied:

Gain: 60%
Minimum Force: 0%
Dynamic Damping: 100%
Road Effects: 0%
Frequency: 333hz
Steering Lock: 800
Steering Linearity: 1.00

To install, go to Fanalab, navigate to the Game Profile tab, select Assetto Corsa Competizione and click the import button at the bottom left of the software. Select the file you’ve downloaded and the import should happen.

Note: This is configured for a DD1, Formula V2 and HE Ultimate combination

To install this, download the file and copy to your documents folder\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Customs\Controls - you can then load up ACC and select the file.
