Ellen's New Stand-Up Special is... Bizarre
Today we're looking at Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval. It's an incredibly bizarre piece of stand-up comedy history, as half of the special is dedicated to her removal from showbusiness. So in this video, I take a look at the controversial history of her career, her talk show, and the allegations that ultimately brought down the daytime television institution that was the Ellen DeGeneres Show. But 2 years after the show was taken off the air, Netflix has given the maligned Queen of Mean a Netflix Stand-Up Special, and we're gonna take a look and see if it's any good.
