What We Said - I-SKY Remix
I-SKY flips What We Said on its head with his hard-edged production and mixing, translating the song’s original melancholia into a euphoric house anthem.
Collaboration with artists outside of the usual indie rock sphere is one of the ways LUST pushes their sound further to gain fresh perspectives. The remix for “What We Said” by I-SKY is a great example of this sonic cross-pollination. Born out of LUST’s full Vantablack stem release on Bandcamp, I-SKY took the tracks and produced something confident and massive, juxtaposing the original track’s introspective vibes with festival-ready (in the safety of your home) swagger.
