Cameron asks John about his philosophy concerning urban sustainability, in areas where dependence on external resources is high. How can those environments move closer to sustainability?
John discusses the differentiation between sustainability and survival, saying that we have already reached the crisis point. Progress will require a 'tsunami of consciousness' and a re-imagination of our reward systems.
