EGRASS: Modeling extreme events to protect grid infrastructure
EGRASS is a software tool that has dramatically advanced the ability of emergency managers
and power planners to anticipate and prepare for impacts from natural hazard events. Using a cloud-based, password protected, but publicly accessible web-based application framework,
EGRASS simulates storm paths and other natural hazard events, helping energy managers prepare
action plans for high wind, flooding, landslides, and vegetation damage.
