Section 60 Stop and Search - Know your rights.
If the #Police stop and search you, they have a procedure to follow, otherwise their search is unlawful and any alleged evidence found by them in an unlawful #search is inadmissable in court. Therefore, NEVER consent to a search, know your rights and make sure the Police Constable knows that you KNOW your rights.
Section 60 orders are now very rare in Huyton. So it's unlikely that there will be one in place. Therefore, the Police will need to have "a reasonable suspicion that you have committed a crime" in order to lawfully search you, without this, they have no power to stop or search you.
