Trailer Kit + Braam Engine + Cello Shorts | Overstratum Audio Decent Samples Library Quick Demo
In this quick tune I tested the new modules of my upcoming sample library pack: Trailer Kit, Cello Staccatos & Braam Engine. These modules are optimized for producing cinematic trailer music.
It runs in Decent Sampler (Windows, Mac and Linux). No additional effects needed, Reverb (16 different IR's to choose), Saturation (4x oversampled), Low/High Pass, everything already included in the instruments.
Velocity Layers are controlled by modwheel. 4 random Round Robins for the Staccatos, 8 Round Robins for the Drums.
Trailer Kit (left side in the video) is extremely simple to use, it contains 1 Boom, 3 808 Sub Booms, 3 Tom Sections, 2 Stick Sections, 3 atonal Risers and a Crash Cymbal. 8 Round Robins, so you can play fast without any machine gun effects. Velocity Layers and Saturation are controlled by modwheel.
I set the Cello Staccatos (middle of the video) in this one on short attack and short release to create more tension. Of course you can change that and play the soft and lush aswell. Modwheel control for the velocity layers.
The Braam Engine (right side): I heavily processed and layered samples and synthesizers to make it as huge as possible. Highly aggressive Saturation is already built in, which you can control via modwheel.
