Historical examples of Iran backing off under US pressure and the need for a strong US stance.

Over the past few months, you’ve heard about various militant groups like the Houthi rebels, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Syrian and Iraqi militias. These groups are not independent but are proxies of Iran, which funds and controls them. This video aims to answer why Iran wants to destroy Israel so adamantly.

Iran's regime fears the United States will westernize Iran and the rest of the Arab world, similar to how the USSR collapsed. To prevent this, Iran:

Overreacts to any defiance or internal criticism.
Maintains strict media control.
Prevents any US intervention.

Iran perceives Israel as a US outpost in the Middle East. Therefore, the anti-Israel sentiment is less about Israel itself and more about countering US influence. To collapse Israel, Iran supports various militant groups to surround Israel and isolate it politically and strategically. Historically, when the US seriously challenged Iran, Iran backed off. Therefore, a strong US stance against Iran could potentially deter its aggressive policies.
