Carrie Grant MBE has been the host of our podcast since we launched in 2021. As a mother of four neurodivergent children and a long-standing advocate for the autistic and neurodivergent community, she has been a fascinating and insightful moderator for the conversations we've had to date.
In January 2023, Carrie received her own autism diagnosis and decided to share the news exclusively with auticon via this special episode of the podcast where Kristy MacLeod and Steve Hill from auticon got to turn the tables and interview her.
In the episode she talks about her feeling of being diagnosed, how it gives her an opportunity to reflect back at her life, relationships and career with a new understanding. She discusses the importance of awareness and understanding of neurodivergence and how she wanted to share the news with us because she sees auticon's work as not just 'life-changing' for neurodivergent people but 'system-changing' and that is what we need!
