2004 Blobeye Subaru WRX Boost Failure
So this is my boost problem:
Will only get up to 9lbs at nearly 90mph. The pill has been checked and is in the line off of the pressure side before the T intersection. This is the second turbo that has been in this WRX and both had this boost failure problem. The first one was fixed by adjusting the control arm but then would over-boost beyond what the ECU would allow and a fight would go on at the higher end. I have been trying to fix it correctly but I think my problem in the actual boost control solenoid but am up for any suggestions out there.
Solution: The EBCS (Electronic Boost Control Solenoid) went bad. Once replaced it makes boost just fine.
