Issues with getting full 14V on 2004 WRX
At the time of footage the car was doing ~55-60MPH and the RPM is around 3000. There is no difference in power other than at 500RPM vs 1000-7000RPM. The only thing that changes rate of charge is doing what I showed above, or letting the car sit for a while then starting it back up. I have tried doing this same sequence over 10 times while driving down the road and it has not worked as well as shutting the car off and starting it after that same 10 times for another 5-6 times of trying to start it and it will not start then either.
Update for anyone who is having this issue:
Replaced the alternator, worked fine until the engine blew.
