Magma - Kobaïa bass cover
Old school Magma today. First album, first track. I wanted to do one from the first album as a tribute to François "Faton" Cohen, the first piano player of Magma, who died recently from a heart attack. Yet his talent is immortal to me, as he was there at the beginning of this fantastic band. A vie, à mort et après.
Now about the song, the beginning isn't too hard but the walk part at the end is amazing. I got lost pretty quickly and was not able to land back on my feet, so I went on kind of improvising around. As this is a long song I didn't want to do too many takes and have my fingers so tired I wouldn't be able to do anything. Hope you'll like it anyway. :)
