Have you visited the newly redeveloped Masich Place Stadium? Usage of the facility is already up more than 60 percent!
Masich Place is one of Prince George’s premier recreation facilities and boasts Northern BC’s first outdoor synthetic field, which will serve to extend the local playing season. And now, for the first time, the UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s soccer teams are bringing the highest level of amateur sport in Canada to the facility on a regular basis.
Some of the Stadium's new or renovated features include:
A re-surfaced rubber eight-lane track.
Synthetic infield turf with a built-in shock pad and markings for FIFA and Canadian Football League (CFL) regulation-sized fields.
Two adjacent natural-grass, full-sized fields, and one practice-sized field.
Consolidated and permanent throws and jumps areas.
A restored and repainted grandstand that includes improved change facilities. New seating will be installed later in the fall.
