The Killers - When You Were Young (2006) (Music Video) [4K UltraHD]
I previously uploaded an absolutely terrible upscale a long time ago of this, and I'm pulling a George Lucas and releasing Special Editions. So I deleted the old video because I tend to only keep the 4K version and/or the best version available on the channel along with any original source video that apparently people keep linking back to or putting on their Youtube playlists and favorites and I dunno... social media? That original upscale was not popular at all because it was shite.
This one is nice and thick with that buttery smoothness and a little bit of bite, like me. This versions good. Better than the one on The Killers' Vevo page. It's allright, my version's here and collecting ad revenue for those who collect royalties on it regardless if it's on my page or yours.
The Killers - When You Were Young (2006) Lyrics:
You sit there in your heartache
Waiting on some beautiful boy to
To save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness
Watch it now, here he comes
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But he talks like a gentleman
Like you imagined
When you were young
Can we climb this mountain? I don't know
Higher now than ever before
I know we can make it if we take it slow
Let's take it easy
Easy now, watch it go
We're burning down the highway skyline
On the back of a hurricane that started turning
When you were young
When you were young
And sometimes you close your eyes
And see the place where you used to live
When you were young
They say the devil's water — it ain't so sweet
You don't have to drink right now
But you can dip your feet
Every once in a little while
You sit there in your heartache
Waiting on some beautiful boy to
To save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness
Watch it now, here he comes
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But he talks like a gentleman
Like you imagined
When you were young
(Talks like a gentleman)
(Like you imagined when)
When you were young
I said he doesn't look a thing like Jesus
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But more than you'll ever know
I said he doesn't look a thing like Jesus
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But more than you'll ever know
And sometimes you close your eyes
And see the place where you used to live
When you were young
They say the devil's water — it ain't so sweet
You don't have to drink right now
But you can dip your feet
Every once in a little while
You sit there in your heartache
Waiting on some beautiful boy to
To save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness
Watch it now, here he comes
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But he talks like a gentleman
Like you imagined
When you were young
(Talks like a gentleman)
(Like you imagined when)
When you were young
I said he doesn't look a thing like Jesus
He doesn't look a thing like Jesus
But more than you'll ever know
