Getting started with a career in Data Science and AI is not easy, whether you are going the traditional route of going to college or you are trying to learn skills on that side... there is not necessarily a clear path - especially since there are multiple types of data science careers.
Listen to me ramble about some of my thoughts regarding educational background, projects and mindset regarding getting started with a career in data science, ml engineering and AI engineering.
