In this video from TEXAVI, Pardha Mantravadi walks us through the important contribution of tracing requirements in the analysis and management of IT projects. Requirements traceability ensures that the different activities and artefacts are interlinked and integrated. This means there is a smooth flow from the requirements to the design, from there to the code and then into the test cases and test results. This is referred to as forward traceability and the reverse flow is called backward traceability. Both these types of tracing help in identifying the gaps, making the relevant changes in a swift and correct manner.
Watch the video to learn about the key role played by Traceability in the efficient management of requirements and changes in the IT projects and processes.
