This time I will be drawing the latest 2020 logo of PT. KERETA API INDONESIA (Persero).

PT KAI President Director, Mr. Didiek, stated that the new PT KAI logo represents a transformation step toward an effective brand architecture that will create integration within the KAI Group. The hope is to address existing challenges and align with KAI's new vision of becoming the best transportation ecosystem solution for Indonesia.
The new PT Kereta Api Indonesia logo (KAI) consists solely of the capital letters "KAI" in italics. This replaces the old logo, which featured a forward-moving symbol with an arrow. The current KAI logo is inspired by the shape of a train track, depicted by a line connecting upwards in the letter A.
The modification to the letter A reflects KAI's character: progressive, open, and trustworthy. The bold graphics, yet with distinct color schemes, are expected to reflect a harmonious and competent relationship between KAI and all stakeholders. The KAI logo is dark blue and orange.
The blue color represents misfortune, professionalism, trustworthiness, and confidence. Meanwhile, the orange color represents enthusiasm, creativity, determination, success, and happiness.
PT KAI is expected to continue to progress and become the best transportation ecosystem solution that is integrated, trustworthy, and synergistic, and will eventually connect Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.
Although this logo change has been widely criticized by fans, we are confident that it will still lead to success.
Hopefully, this new logo will inspire new enthusiasm for KAI to realize its vision based on its new core values: AKHLAK: Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative.
The new logo of PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero (Persero) brings new enthusiasm and even greater success.
