A presentation of the New Masters in Anthropocene One Year program.
Learn about the Anthropocene.
We live in a globalized world profoundly shaped by human activity. We are more interconnected than ever through the Internet and global supply chains, and the individual actions of 8 billion people combine to cause global climate change and rapid biodiversity loss. What does that mean for how to live a good life in the modern world? What can we do as individuals, and what do we need corporations and governments to do? How can science, policy, and art contribute to the grand challenges of the Anthropocene? This interdisciplinary program will rely on Geography, Environmental Studies, Geomatics, and other disciplines to explore the modern world and our place in it.
