How to set the clock on a Volvo C30. A similar procedure can also be used on the S40, V50, and C70 models. The C30 I am working with here is a 2007.

Procedure:
Setting the clock is very straight forward. Start by inserting the key and turning it to position 1.
The button on the right of the gauge cluster is used to adjust the time. If the car has lost power the time will be shown as dashes, if there is numbers, the same procedure still applies.
Unlike the trip reset which is pressed, this button is twisted to the left and right. It’s only a very small amount and maybe hard to detect. Twisting clockwise will increase the time. The longer the button is held, the faster the clock will change so the hour position changes faster.
When twisting the button counterclockwise, the time value is then decreased.
To get a fine adjustment, just twist the button briefly so you can adjust in one-minute segments.
Once done, you can turn the ignition off and the clock is officially set.
