Krisp Autumn On The Freight Subdivision With NS 16R Highballing Through Coons Crossing
Well here we are back railfanning the freight subdivision at coons crossing in mechanicville. While waiting for something to come we were expecting for NS 47A to come by soon but according to another railfan that I met there he told me that it was actually tied down at the yard for the rest of the day until it receives a crew but however NS 16R was on it's way which went by oneota a few hours ago so while waiting we went to the yard to check it out until then I heard a horn from the distance so we quickly ran back to the crossing to set up very quick then a minute later we heard it close by and the crossings went down and it came by highballing traveling around like 40 through there and it had a very friendly engineer on it which he gave me a horn show as well, and then after it came by we ran back down to the yard to check it out and we saw 47A just tied down and believe or not it had an executive grinstein mac but was very hard to see it because it's view is blocked by other freight cars, and not only we saw that but we also saw some pan am & berx, that also includes 7881 which was recently repainted in the G&W inspired livery, and we also saw a vintage guilford rail system maintenance of way passenger car that was owned by SRMX which will be taken for restoration this is some rarest things we ever caught even on the former D&H & B&M, time to sit back, relax, & enjoy!!
