Welcome to this week's update!

For Microsoft Teams developers, there are new capabilities for meeting apps. All pinned apps in Teams meetings will now get native screen-sharing capabilities. This means your app can be shared during meetings without extra work from developers unless more granular control is needed. Additionally, improvements have been made to the "Share to Teams" control, enhancing the user experience by auto-installing and notifying participants about new apps during meetings.

For IT admins, there’s an update on pre-approval of Resource Specific Consent (RSC) permissions. Now, admins can pre-approve what RSC can cover, adding another layer of control. If this sounds like something you need, there’s a detailed Microsoft Learn page with all the instructions.

Lastly, Microsoft has quietly decided to get rid of the Copilot GPT Builder for consumers. Starting July 10th, the ability to create GPTs will be removed, and all existing GPTs will be deleted by July 14th. Microsoft is focusing on core product experiences and shifting the GPTs to Commercial and Enterprise spaces. Although it's unfortunate for those who were looking forward to consumer GPTs, it’s a strategic move to prioritize enterprise solutions.

Thanks for tuning in, have a great week, and I'll catch you in the next update!
