People + AI Research is a multidisciplinary team at Google that explores the human side of AI. We do fundamental research, build tools, create design frameworks, and work with diverse communities.
The People + AI Guidebook is a set of methods and best practices we developed to help teams take a people-centered approach to AI product design. We recently updated it (in May 2021) with new, action-oriented materials like design patterns and a workshop kit, to make it easier to move from human-centered AI theory to practice.
