When algorithms rule the world
The short story “A Logic Named Joe” by Murray Leinster shows a universe in which an advanced AI takes the initiative to interfere in people’s lives. In the real world, machines are each time more in control. Setting online prices, in Hollywood, in Wall Street... Their weapon of choice: the algorithms.
