Time-lapse construction of The Southern Star Observation Wheel by Eon-FX
http://www.eon-fx.com Eon-FX was engaged to cover the construction of the Southern Star Observation Wheel in docklands, Melbourne. We used a dual head system for ultimate coverage. This premier mixed-use development comprises of premium retail, residential & commercial space which covers over 14 hectares, approximately the size of 7.5 MCG ovals.
The precinct is a natural extension to the docklands, with the central attraction being the 120m tall Southern Star Observation Wheel, to be built in the unique landscaped piazza. The wheel will act as a focus for Waterfront City, Docklands and be seen as the gateway to Melbourne.
