It’s a cloud based solution for deploying Windows Updates.
You can control which types of Windows updates to be offered for the device. Such as
Quality updates
Feature updates
Drivers updates
Other Microsoft Product updates.
WUFB is valid for following editions of Windows 10/11:
Enterprise
Professional
Education
WUFB Policies can be deployed via Intune or Group Policy
WUFB Policies allows a better user experience in terms of when the updates will be offered, deadline, grace period etc. Defer update (1) Feature updates – 365 days (2) Quality updates – 30 days
WUFB - Prerequisites

Device should be Azure AD Joined / Hybrid Azure AD joined
Device should be enrolled to Intune.
Windows 10/11 Enterprise / Pro / Education editions are supported. Not valid for Home edition
Users should have one of the following license:
Windows 10/11 Enterprise E3 or E5 (included in Microsoft 365 F3, E3, or E5)
Windows 10/11 Education A3 or A5 (included in Microsoft 365 A3 or A5)
Windows Virtual Desktop Access E3 or E5
Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Diagnostic data – Telemetry should be enabled

Why need to adopt WUFB ?
For Better Compliance : This is modern way of deploying the updates, you can’t skip any update
Minimal configuration required: Once WUFB Policy is configured using multiple rings, it is like set and forget configuration.
No Complexity: Very easy to configure WUFB policy. Domain joining to Active Directory setup is not required.
Less Overhead: As we are not dealing with on-premises infrastructure such as WSUS & SCCM, overhead to manage WUFB is less.

First Adopters : 2.5%
Early Adopters : 11.5 %

Option to Uninstall the update through ring deployment
