What's up gamers! POE is back and I am so excited to compete. This round was zodiac signs and I decided to do a femslash spin on Scorpios!
First heard the song thanks to an awesome seisub mmv I'll link below. Really made me want to edit the song and figured that I couldn't get a better toxic yaoi pairing than that and decided I wanted to go the toxic yuri route instead. After all sapphics deserve to be bitter and angry and sensual just as much!
After some consulting for good source vibes, I got pointed in the direction of Dear Brother. I've known about it as an Utena inspiration for a while but really got interested in it after Suki's awesome vid with it last POE. So I binge-read the manga to get enough context to edit with the anime, which is somehow even more gay and dramatic. Got to discover fun things in the scene selection process like a rando shared shower scene or the girlies suddenly hunting each other for sport. Very interesting way to learn about the show's adaptation of things.
Also while in the scene selection mines for any bit that moved discovered a third vid with some fun vibes I'll link below. But yeah, so excited to be back again for this competition!
