Those of you that know me, know that i'm always on the hunt for untraveled paths. Hidden gems. Relatively unexplored locations scattered across the world that will never be the same again when mainstream tourism hits.
That's how we stumbled on the island of Sumba 🇮🇩
Its a rather big island, 1hr flight from Bali, that requires 2+ weeks to visit entirely. We hopped on all kinds of 1980s jeeps and tried to do just that, in 8 days. While we don't claim that we managed to see it all, we saw enough to understand what this island is all about. And what future may lay ahead for it. Some of the locations we visited include:
