Why is abortion such a fraught topic in libertarian circles these days? How have libertarians historically regarded abortion? What does it mean to be "pro-choice" or "pro-life" — and are these labels inadequate? Why should libertarians be wary of criminalizing abortion, even if they personally oppose the practice or find it immoral?
We discuss these questions and more in this Feminists for Liberty panel. Panelists include Feminists for Liberty executive director Kat Murti, entrepreneur/activist (and Feminists for Liberty board member) Avens O’Brien, writer and communications specialist Marianne March, lawyer Izabela Patriota, and Reason Senior Editor Stephanie Slade. The panel is moderated by Feminists for Liberty president Elizabeth Nolan Brown.
