I got bored messing around with cloak, and tried out energy drain spec'd for detonating and priming.... Much more fun!
Because there's such heavy power use, the fusion mod of rapid deployment is actually useful here. And the Maverick chest armour offsets the weapon damage decrease.
Beyond that, energy drain makes it much easier to deal with shielded enemies, and the tech combo AoE stun is also quite handy for groups of annointed/destined.
