Introduction to the LayoutEditor Cloud
The LayoutEditor already has a large amount of features. But not everything can be realized with a desktop application. For this reason we have created the LayoutEditor Cloud. The Cloud is a collection of services and tools around layout preparation and creation. These services can easily be called from the LayoutEditor desktop application. The first function to be mentioned here is the feature 'save to Cloud' in the File Menu. This function saves the current design cell in an encrypted file format and uploads it to our cloud server. A web browser opens and your personal archive in our cloud is displayed. You can then access this archive with any browser and use one of our services. For logging in you can use different accounts such as your Google account. So you do not need to remember an additional user name or password.
Once your design has been uploaded, all our services are available to you. The most trival application here is our webviewer. With this viewer you can view your design with any modern browser, from anywhere You can also share the link to view with your colleagues and friends. They can then view your design without installing the LayoutEditor or any other tool on their computers. A simple modern browser is sufficient, no plugins are required. Downloading the design is expressly prohibited. This ensures that the design does not fall into the wrong hands.
You can also access your design archive from the LayoutEditor application at any time. The function 'my design archiv' is available under mainmenu utilities cloud services. It will open your prefered browser with your design archive. In that menu you will also find all other cloud services. At this point i want to point out our photomask service. Most designs will be needed as a photomask to be able to produce your design. With our service you have a comfortable and inexpensive way to create this mask. We send photomasks quickly cost-effectively and worldwide
