Easy Chicken fried rice!
My core four method for weight loss is all about curating easy simple recipes that are calorie controlled, provide 30-40 g of protein and easy to make, plus your family has to love them! This is definitely one of my core four dinners!
We eat this simple at least once a week! Makes four big servings at only 440 calories and 36g pro it is perfect! Plus my whole family LOVES IT!
I use the Trader Joe’s fried rice to make this meal even easier! Word to the wise, get the plain fried rice, the one with added chicken, the chicken is sketchy! 130z cooked shredded chicken
One bag Trader Joe’s fried rice
1 cup edamame
3 large eggs
3-5 tbsp low sugar teriyaki sauce
2-3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
Prepare the fried rice using the directions on the bag, add in your cup of edamame and scramble your eggs. Combine it all and heat thoroughly. Now season your shredded chicken with the teriyaki and tamari sauce. This recipe makes four servings. Plate ¼ of the rice and `¼ of the chicken. Top with green onions and store bought yum yum sauce and enjoy!
