This is the improved version of increase mechanism 1    • Inverse Geneva Wheel Mechanism 1   where some asked how can be locked in position in idle time. So you can focus on green part ,the wheel is machined further near the edges.
This is called "Inverse Geneva because the driving and driven member are rotating in the same direction where as normal geneva mechanism rotate in different directions like meshing gears.This inverse mechanism was developed to fill the requirements of a particular type of drive for feeding strip stock into power press dies.The plate rotates in equal intermittent movement from station to station as the crank pass through grooves.The grooves can be increased but the minimum number is Three to make this mechanism work.The clearance and bush should be provided to the protruding pin of the crank to prevent jamming and to make maintainable.
